I love the wounds and stress and pain of this painting. This piece captures the difficulty of life. The emotional toll that circumstances take from us. Once we were shiny and bright and new. But time wears us down. The storms and trials of our journey chip away our once perfect exteriors. Scars and lines are carved in year by year.
And yet, there is beauty. There is a unique, one-of-a-kind character to behold. We may be weathered, but we are still whole. We are still here.
