This painting is called Deep End. It holds a lot of emotion for me. I was experiencing the pain and heartache of a friend going through a really difficult time while I was creating this piece. The deep blue colors and brush strokes remind me of drowning in a sea. Sometimes the painting evokes peace and sometimes it evokes turmoil. Ultimately, whatever you see in the artwork is what you connect with and what you perceive.
